Julie Laipply is a highly-requested speaker and positive role model on healthy and successful choices for teens, girls and young people. Julie is also widely recognized for her powerful educator and parent programs on how to effectively communicate with teens.

Julie has come a long way from the “monkey legs” and “nerd” labels of high school where she couldn’t even get a date to prom.  As an award-winning national speaker and author, an Emmy-nominated TV show host, Miss Virginia USA 2002, a semi-finalist to appear on NBC’s Apprentice TV show, and a senior leadership consultant at the Pentagon—all by age 27—student audiences appreciate that Julie “walks her talk,” that her life actually demonstrates the power of positive life choices, and that she candidly shows students how to do the same.

As a top-rated speaker for conferences, Julie is especially known for her high-energy and interactive keynotes, workshops and seminars.  Julie’s exceptional background in educational best-practices helps her involve the entire audience whether she is speaking to 200 or 20,000—and helps them use the important success principles she shares.

A Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar to England, and Phi Beta Kappa Graduate in Leadership Studies, Julie has come a long way from starting her own company at the age of 14 to help  pay for college. Recognized as a top achiever and positive role model, Julie is featured in The Success Principles and The Success Principles for Teens by #1 New York Times Bestselling Author, Jack Canfield. Julie’s story of hope and encouragement is also featured in Chicken Soup for the “Twenty-Something Soul”, as well as in her new, widely anticipated book for girls, Be-You-Tiful

Concerned that many young people were being misled by negative role models and destructive media messages, Julie made a commitment to help young people have lives of success and happiness.  She left a prestigious position as a Senior Management Consultant for the Pentagon, where she developed courses and coached executives in communication and leadership skills, in order to be a positive voice and example for young people. She competed for and won Miss Virginia USA as a way to help further her impact as a national speaker.

Students appreciate her down-to-earth, candid and “big-sister” approach to helping them reach their dreams. Conference coordinators and event directors love that she helps guarantee their events will be successes.  To learn more about Julie’s presentations, visit http://www.juliespeaks.com/home.htm.
